We are hosting our annual Kindergarten Transition Events and invite all CAP Tulsa parents or guardians of four-year-old children to join us along with representatives from schools in the local area to learn about enrolling your child into kindergarten next year.

Tuesday, November 28 at Skelly
Tuesday, December 5 at McClure
Tuesday, December 12 at Disney
Thursday, December 14 at ECDC Reed

Events will be held during child pick-up from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and for extended care families, staff will remain to provide materials and answer questions.

What to expect:
Public, charter, and magnet school representatives in the local area will be in attendance to meet with our families and answer questions to prepare for this exciting journey. CAP Tulsa staff will provide booklets with helpful information including school contacts and community resources. Interpretation and translation staff will be available to provide bilingual services to families.

Additional Information:
Parents and guardians should take special care to document all special education services, health concerns, and dietary restrictions when applying for kindergarten. Visit the program or district’s website or contact an enrollment representative for enrollment deadlines and required documents. Each school district and program has its own processes for before and after-care registration. Parents should inquire about before and after-care availability at enrollment. Access uniform, school supply, and other family support services by contacting the school counselor, principal, or teacher.
