The Power of PlayMarch 06, 2018
Encourage and provide opportunities for your toddler to have unstructured playtime each day. When your little one plays pretend, they’re practicing and learning new vocabulary and how it is used. When they play with shapes, blocks or other object they are learning how things work, spatial relationships and can begin to make predictions!
Show an interest in your child’s pretend world but let them be in charge of the story they are creating. When you join in and play with your child you are bonding with them and creating positive experiences together!
