Certified Medication Aide

Certified Medication Aides assist nurses in providing care and medications, follow written and/or oral instructions to administer medications, monitor patients and report changes in condition or vital signs.

Course Length:

  • Career-Readiness Training: 1 week
  • Pre-Training: 1 week
  • Certified Medication Aide Training: 6 weeks
  • Total Training Length: 8 weeks (2 months)


  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant
  • 6 months of Certified Nursing Assistant work experience
  • No abuse on the Nurse Aide Registry

Potential Starting Wage: $12-$14 per hour
