CAP Tulsa can help your family access the application for Oklahoma’s Promise, a state funded program which can provide higher education assistance for Oklahoma students with limited financial resources.
Oklahoma’s Promise requires students to complete a core curriculum, maintain a minimum GPA and meet codes of conduct to be eligible for free tuition for up to five years at any public Oklahoma college or university. It will also cover a portion of the tuition at independent/private universities or colleges and some public technology centers.
The program, which is sponsored by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, is open to students grades 8-10 whose annual family income is $50,000 or less. Parents must supply proof of income. Some other conditions apply.
